Data Modelling

Understanding the data structures within an organisation is key to successful data management. This understanding is reached by modelling the various data structures using the industry standard notations. Data structures have expanded over the years from relational operational databases to dimensional analytical cubes, and then to complex messages that are transferred between applications. This course addresses all three of these areas.

Course Description

The course runs over five days and includes numerous exercises as well as a full day assessment on the fifth day that will consolidate the learning in a practical way. The course is comprehensive and will leave the delegate with a good understanding and the ability to apply data modelling practically.

Prerequisites

New EA Bootcamp for Architecture Entrants

Real IRM’s new five-day EA Bootcamp course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to individuals entering an architecture-related role and/or needing a basic understanding of enterprise architecture(EA) concepts. It covers key industry frameworks and standards like TOGAF, Zachman and ArchiMate. SA’s First ArchiMate Course a Success

Real IRM presented our first ArchiMate course from 12-13 July to a full class. The delegates were excited to learn the new language and their feedback rated the course highly with particular emphasis on their enjoyment of the practical exercises and case study.

TOGAF™ 9 Certification Has Tremendous Uptake

London Becomes Routine Training Location

Real IRM, in association with IRM UK, has made London a regular spot for our TOGAF 9 training courses. Another successful TOGAF 9 course was presented in May to a full class. All delegates passed their exams and have been awarded their TOGAF 9 certifications. Real IRM will be back in London from 6-10 September and again from 6-10 December to present TOGAF 9 training.
